Solar Suvidha ("we", "us") is an advisory and marketing service that helps homeowners in Delhi NCR check rooftop solar subsidy eligibility and connects them with independent solar installer partners. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us: name, phone/WhatsApp number, pincode, approximate monthly electricity bill, and whether you own your roof, submitted through our eligibility form, WhatsApp, or Facebook/Instagram lead forms.
Information collected automatically: basic analytics and advertising data via cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager (pages visited, device type, approximate location). This helps us measure and improve our advertising.
How we use it
- To check your solar subsidy eligibility and send you a summary, typically on WhatsApp.
- To connect you with one verified installer partner covering your area, who will contact you about rooftop solar. We share your name, phone number, pincode, and bill range with that single partner for this purpose.
- To improve our service and advertising performance.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your information to data brokers or marketing lists.
- We do not share your details with multiple installers at once, one enquiry goes to one partner.
- We do not collect payment information; homeowners never pay us.
Your choices and rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent to be contacted. Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@solarsuvidha.in, we act on requests within 7 working days. You can opt out of cookies through your browser settings; ad platforms also provide their own opt-out tools.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months for service and record-keeping, then delete it. Data is stored on secured systems; access is limited to people who need it to serve you.
Third-party services
Our site and forms use services from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, WhatsApp (Meta), and our hosting provider. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Children
Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
